ChoateIA Ranked on 2018 Financial Times 300 Top RIAs

ChoateIA has been named by Financial Times magazine as one of the “300 Top Registered Investment Advisers” in the publication’s annual list of the best advisors across the United States.

The Financial Times identified its “300 Top Registered Investment Advisers” based on assets under management, asset growth, years the firm has been in existence, industry credentials of staff, and accessibility. Only independent, RIAs whose institutional assets did not exceed 75 percent of the practice’s total assets were considered.

ChoateIA has provided wealth management services to high net worth individuals and families for decades, and as of March 31, 2018 manages $4.7 billion in discretionary assets. ChoateIA offers independent “open architecture” investment advice. The firm’s seamless one-stop, family office approach to wealth management provides clients with top notch, institutional quality investment management services provided by ChoateIA that are fully integrated with the tax, estate planning, and other services offered by Choate, Hall & Stewart’s Wealth Management Group.

The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers is an independent listing produced annually by the Financial Times (June 2018). The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and online accessibility. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
