Todd Millay of Choate Investment Advisors Named to Barron's 2016 Top Advisors in America List
Todd Millay, managing director of Choate Investment Advisors, has been named to the 2016 list of “Top Advisors” by Barron’s magazine. At Choate Investment Advisors, Millay oversees the management of over $4 billion in assets for high net worth individuals and families. The firm offers an independent “open architecture” investment strategy, and focuses on providing clients a seamless family office approach to wealth management with institutional quality investment management services that are fully integrated with clients’ tax, estate planning, and other needs. “It’s an honor to be named to Barron’s list of the best financial advisors in America,” said Millay. “Our clients know they can rely on us to provide integrated, independent, and objective solutions to their wealth management needs that also accommodates their tolerance for risk. Through our comprehensive family office model and strategic approach, we are able to help our clients achieve their financial goals.”
Outside of the office, Millay is chairman of the board of InnerCity Weightlifting, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing urban violence by working with young people at the highest risk. He was the founding executive director of the Wharton Global Family Alliance, the research center on family wealth and business at the Wharton School. He received his law degree from Yale Law School in 1997, was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University from 1992 to 1994 (concentration in economics), and earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1992.
